IMEX-Vibes in Las Vegas

Three days in Las Vegas, a booth between neon lights and air-conditioned exhibition halls—and right in the middle of it all, Larissa, representing Munich for the first time in the USA. Here we tell you what everyday life at the trade fair, encounters, and rooftop nights were like.

Arriving in the Desert Light

IMEX America at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center is vast, loud, and full of energy. Around 18,000 people flowed through the halls. It was once again important for us to be there in person, as we had the opportunity to meet our valued colleagues from our U.S. representation office – the source of the majority of our clients. Marie has been managing the trade show for four years, and this year she was joined for the first time by Larissa, who represented CAMONSITE’s newly opened Munich office at IMEX America for the very first time in 2025. Together, they formed the perfect team to fly the flag for Germany – and especially for Munich and Berlin – at the German Convention Bureau booth.

A booth in the rhythm of the day

Between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m., we were already set up and ready for the day, well ahead of the official start at 10:00 a.m. From then on, everything moved quickly: scheduled meetings, spontaneous conversations with walk‑ins, brief team check‑ins, and a constant flow of new and familiar faces from the international industry.

Larissa, dressed in a traditional Bavarian dirndl, added a charming touch that instantly sparked conversations and brought friendly smiles to many American attendees.

Where encounters make a difference

The atmosphere at the trade show was vibrant. Many booths wound down in the late afternoon with music and a drink. Networking continued seamlessly afterward. Conversations that began at the booth often carried on spontaneously in a bar or hotel lobby.

A personal highlight was the IMEX party on a rooftop across from Caesars Palace—a moment when the energy of the event spilled into the night, allowing the connections made throughout the day to unfold even further.

What We Take Away

Las Vegas once again showed us how important personal presence is for our work. Conversations, shared rituals at the booth, and the small moments between meetings create relationships that inspire. For us, this trip was more than just a trade show – it was a piece of team spirit in a city that never stands still.

And for Larissa, it certainly won’t be the last time:

“My first trip to the U.S. and IMEX America was a true highlight for me – especially the incredibly warm response to Munich and the many meaningful conversations through which I met wonderful people.”
