Our (sustainability) vision is: “We love what we do. Create your own impact.”
We want to realize this vision in the areas that are relevant to us: the environment, the economy, society and GRC, in particular in the areas that are essential to us. The essential topics were determined based on a double materiality analysis.

Our vision
Attractive events and conventions are possible even in a world geared towards sustainability. They are reduced to a minimum of harmful effects and make a positive contribution to climate and environmental protection.
Our path
Camonsite wants to help establish a sustainable consumer attitude in the industry and make experiences tangible, where even the simple can be seen as luxurious. To achieve this, we want to integrate more and more environmentally friendly practices into our daily activities.
Goals by 2028
1. development of environmentally friendly events
- Recording and reduction of our average Scope 2 & 3 CO2 equivalents
- Development of a zero-waste concept suitable for our events
- Development of an environmentally friendly mobility concept for events
- Concept development of at least 2-3 environmentally friendly event formats
2. compensation programs
- Development and provision of a binding, event-based compensation program

Our vision
Sustainable events go hand in hand with economic success. Our clients are enthusiastic about sustainable solutions, as are our suppliers, who naturally offer sustainable alternatives. Our destination, Germany, and Berlin in particular, is valued around the world for its open, sustainable and diverse culture. Sustainability is therefore becoming a must-have rather than a nice-to-have.
Our approach
Camonsite is committed to combining customer requirements with sustainable practices, motivating suppliers to act in an environmentally friendly manner and offering cost-effective solutions. As part of our events, we want to present Germany as a sustainable destination that is worth visiting. At the same time, we want to tap into alternative local/national markets in order to reduce our dependence on the external perception of Germany.
Objectives by 2028
1. cost-effective, attractive, green events
- Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to identify cost-effective sustainable solutions
- Revise the Greenpoint program for our customers
- Develop guidelines and incentives for our suppliers
- actively promoting our successful green events to existing and new customers
2. market development
- analyzing potential new markets and initial pilot projects
- establishing new partnerships through increased presence at relevant trade fairs and events

Our vision
We love what we do. Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate culture and our management principles: our be-have.
Our approach
We will develop clear sustainability standards that are supported, lived and implemented by all employees. All employees will receive regular training from the outset. We will take on economic, ecological and social responsibility in our corporate management. We want to communicate our sustainable actions in an authentic, honest and transparent way.

- Further development and anchoring of our sustainability standards
- Creation of instructions and guidelines for employees based on these
- Design and implementation of a new professional onboarding program reflecting the new work

- Regular performance of opportunity and risk analyses to derive economic, ecological and social measures
- Establishment of a sustainability management system
- Development of a sustainable corporate strategy

- Regular publication of our sustainable measures and goals

Our vision
With our creative events, we offer a platform for diverse cultural encounters, promote exchange across borders and silos, and create positive, sustainable connections.
Our approach
In order to enable positive connections between people through our services, we strive to integrate a wide range of organizations and partners. At the same time, we actively promote sustainable connections with and between all employees. Our goal is to give all employees a fair chance to fully develop their potential and make a valuable contribution to creative and sustainable events at a high level.
Goals for 2028
1. diverse encounters
- Definition of 2 selected partnerships with non-profit/social organizations
- Planning of at least one external impact event per year
- Further regular trade fair visits to expand our partner portfolio
2. sustainable connections
- Establishment of a feedback mechanism for customers, participants, employees
- Further development of our flexible working hours model
- Regular internal impact events (corporate volunteering day, social giving, focus days, at least once a year)
- Regular training on sustainability
- Development of an employee retention concept (employer branding / training and development)
